If the medical certificate is produced for any health reason 10% exemption will be given.
For the regular students, appearing for the examination, 75% attendance is compulsory. There will be 100 marks for each paper totaling to 400 marks. The Diploma examination conducted by the university will have two theory papers and two practical papers. Division will be decided depending on the marks secured. In the Certificate course examination conducted by the university, there will be 100 marks for the theory paper and 100 marks for practical paper totaling to 200 marks. 
If the submitted proof is found to be false the application will be rejected and the application fee paid will not be refunded.
They should submit the official age proof along with the application.
Students appearing for the Certificate course examinations should have completed 14 years of age. Those who have passed the Certificate course are only eligible to join in regular Diploma course. Candidates joining in Karnatic Music/Dance courses, for which the examinations are conducted by the university, are supposed to have ability to read and write Telugu/English. There should be a compulsory gap of two years after passing Certificate Examination to appear for the Diploma Examinations. Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University will conduct annual examinations for 4 years Certificate courses at the end of 4th year and 2 years Diploma course at the end of 2nd year. Music & Dance schools/ colleges, for which the syllabus is framed by Telugu University.
